I like to ask my students which skill is their favorite in their English as a Second Language classes. Most of my students say that reading, listening, grammar or speaking is their favorite. I almost never hear one of my students say that writing is their favorite English as a Second Language skill. That changes now.
What will you learn in this course?
This course brings you the types of writing that you need in school, business, and everyday life. This is something you can't find easily in a university ESL writing course. With this course, you will understand:
1. Who your reader is
2. How to explain your argument well (Hello, good TOEFL or IELTS writing score!)
3. How to write a review
4. How to write in English and have FUN!
What is each lesson like?
I used the best materials that I could find and create! I spent dozens of hours making the worksheets that will help guide you as you write. I also include Powerpoint slides in each lesson so you can review whenever you want. Each lecture is about 10-15 minutes, and they all have subtitles at the bottom. This helps ESL students because you can read what I say as I speak. This course is mobile- and computer-friendly. You can watch the lectures on your smartphone on a city bus, or you can watch the lectures in your bedroom on your laptop. In conclusion, I've tried to make this lesson as easy to use as possible.
Who should take this course?
If you want a better IELTS or TOEFL writing score, this is the course for you. If you are having difficulty in your writing classes at your university, this course is the extra help you need. If you are an employee that needs help writing your ideas for your boss, I, Katy, am your sidekick.
